Big Sale Has Started - UPDATED 07-31-25 (01 Apr 2025)

As some of you know my dad passed away 2 months ago today, on May 31, 2025. I posted it in the Members Only section when it happened. Thanks to all of you who have offered kind words on the forum, with phone calls, and visits in person during this time.

The Big Sale is on but not like originally planned, it is a by appointment type of thing now. I don't have the manpower, or the desire to do a big event like originally planned, I just need to sell a lot of parts that are taking up too much space here. I have been told and believe we are overloaded with Wheel Horse parts like no one has ever seen. Peeps have already been coming in from different parts of the country and buying a lot of stuff due to seeing the sale page, and seeing we are the only Wheel Horse only business in the USA that does things on the scale we do. The sale will continue for awhile until I free up some more space but you may not want to wait too long as things are being sold every day and there are limits to how many of certain parts will be sold.

As it says on the page it is still under construction and the page isn't finished yet. I've had a ton of calls for parts and the Big Sale Page may help answer some questions about what is here before peeps call. I hope that page is also clear that we DO NOT SHIP anything... This is a by appointment type of thing now. Be sure to call before you come to make sure the day isn't already full with peeps scheduled to come in, and make sure what you want is still available.

Getting started on this one today. I'll have her torn down and ready for pressure washing tomorrow and tomorrow isn't gonna be a good day but it will be the best one available for the next 2 weeks. :doh

I got her running and couldn't get the carb set right, or get an idle. There was a little fuel leaking around the head gasket so that was the place to start. It was blown and looked pretty rough. I don't stock a lot of Tecumseh engine parts so it's all cleaned up and a head gasket will be here in the morning. :thumb1

There was a little leak at the drain pipe, it is fixed. The head is on with the old gasket and everything else is sealed up and ready for a good pressure washing tomorrow, not so sure I am ready though lol. :rolling

Parts of me are frozen lol. :cold

Now I can say I have pressure washed outside at 39 degrees, no Sun at all, and a light wind. I hope I can never say that again on another one. :laughing :tounge2

Rear axle seals are out and all the shafts are cleaned up. If I can get the slot hitch loose then I can move on to cleaning up the rest of the frame, rearend and parts. :thumb1

New rear seals are in then I started on the carb. The rod broke when putting it in, then I started looking a little closer... The rod was rusty and home made, it's supposed to go to the rear of the bracket close to the head, the high speed stop screw and lock was missing, and the rod and spring were in the wrong holes for this setup. Those rod links are hard to make and get right so I can see why people take other routes. Tecky carb linkages and setups drive me nuts, now the fun begins but not till tomorrow lol. :doh :rolling

Well usually I can do a complete hood in less than 10 mins, I've been on the hood and fender topsides only for over 2 hours and ran the blaster a lot harder than usual. They are both pretty much 100% solid rust pits, some spots worse than others...
